This guitar has a surprisingly rich and deep sound for it's price. I had to spend some time adjusting the neck as the manufacturer sent it with the neck to tight and there was a buzz in the 5th fret to the 1st when you held the string down. A few adjustments though on the neck rod and it was fine. A very surprising sound for such a cheap guitar.

The quality is good, sturdy and it looks pretty bad ass. I feel like it's made not in China - but I tore the label off immediately, so I really don't know for sure. This guitar strap makes me feel like a total rock god.

This strap is killer. It's well made, the holes are tight on the guitar's pins, it looks cool, and the backside is black, making it 99% reversable. It's also a good length. It's not for Slash, but I'm 6'2" and it hangs to my beltline easily on both sides. I think it's a good deal and I'm glad I bought it.---Joel.

Perfect if you have a guitar with an irregular shape (such as BC Rich), swivel cradle rotates 360 degrees to fit the shape of the guitar.

I do not give 5 stars because you have to be careful when putting the guitar, because you can not put the cradle in a specific position, so everytime you take off the guitar the cradle returns to the original position.

This thing shipped so fast, I expected at least a week, it came in like three days! I've had this bass for a couple of months now, and it's really fun. It's my first bass. Though it's not from some famous maker, it still catches the eyes of some of my friends with fancy $600 basses, and according to them, it's a nice bass (: And it really is. Unplugged it's not TOO loud, but it's enough for solo practice. Plug this baby in to an amp and it sounds awesome, the equalizer works nicely too. I guess one thing I would have liked is if there was a strap button on the opposite end, but you could always get one installed at a music shop for not too much money. If you've been interested in getting your first bass, I highly recommend this one. Or even if you already own an electric bass and just want an acoustic to have around, this thing works. I've had so much fun with this bass so far, and I would have to say it was so worth the money spent, which wasn't much!

PS. You might want to tighten the truss rod when you first get it (the tool is included), as the strings can be too loose and vibrate on the fingerboard when you play. After a little tightening, it should sound great. If you don't know how to adjust a truss rod, you could always go on youtube and watch demo videos. But it's really as simple as screwing something in.

Having owned this bass two months now I can say it is a great bass for the money. it has a nice tone, the fretwork is good all the way up and down the neck, and plugged in as well as acoustic it has a nice clean warm sound. I was actually surprised that an acoustic bass this cheap would be well made, but from the internal bracing to the bound body I can't seem to find any flaws. For those wanting a good bass to play unplugged on in a coffee house setting you really can't go wrong. oh and you can't see in the pics but has has BOTH HI-Z AND LOW-Z outputs, which makes it great for running straight into a soundboard. It is little touches like that that makes this Rogue a real charmer.

If you can find anything to complain about on this stand, it must have gone over the river Styx when it got shipped to you, because as far as I can tell after a few weeks of daily use, there's nothing wrong with it whatsoever. It's sturdy, supportive, and holds my Yamaha acoustic guitar perfectly. Much better than leaning it in the corner (eep). Highly recommended.

The only bad thing is that it looks plain and simple. It is not fancy looking. Other than that, it is as good as any nice expesive guitar. For beginners, I cant imagine anything better than this. I ordered this because I wanted a cheap guitar to leave at the cabin. It wasn't a terrible choice, but if I had it over I'd probably spend a little more. Based on other reviews, I was expecting to have to replace the strings before long. However, I was not expecting the high E string to break while I was tuning the guitar for the first time. Also, the bow to the neck is not right so the low E and A strings buzz when played on the lowest three frets or so. I think I'll be able to adjust this out, but shouldn't have to on a new instrument. I'm not saying don't buy one, just don't expect too much if you do.

Let me just preface this review with the disclaimer that I know very little about guitars. I was looking for a super cheap guitar in order to find out if I would still have the same desire to learn guitar after a few months of playing it as I do right now. This guitar perfectly suited my needs because it only costs 35 dolalrs.

Lets start with the packaging. Guitar came double packed in cardboard. Outer box was a large rectangle, inner box was a trapezoid shape to fit the guitar smoothly. A pick and allen wrench came with it.

The guitar itself, structurally wise, is glued together. It smelled of glue and you can see the excess glue if you look at where the pieces are connected. The outside is a laminate but the fretboard is real wood. The guitar on the back and sides is a "rosewood" color.

I should also mention that the brand is a crescent since it doesn't say that in the description.

The guitar seems to hold a tune pretty well so far. It has only been two days though. I am having a lot of fun playing it but my fingers ache with the pain of starting guitar!

There is only one peg for the strap on the the end of the guitar so if you want a strap you would have to tie to the headstock or take it to a shop to have them add a peg.

The guitar plays pretty nicely. Although since I have never played the guitar I can't tell if it sounds good or not. Thats a pro and con I guess.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this guitar with no reviews but for 35 dollars I decided to pull the trigger. This guitar may not be the best guitar in the world, but for 35 dollars I couldn't be happier. It would be an excellent guitar to get for someone who is just starting out since you don't have to spend a lot of money in case they drop the guitar after a month.

5 stars for this very cheap guitar. Well worth the money.

Item arrived just as described. Higher quality than can reasonably be expected for the price. Some mentioned about some type of smell. I almost didn't buy it for that one reason....I hate weird smells in my home. That being said, there was NO smell on the one we bought. Maybe the ones they shipped last year had it, but not now in 2009.

Great guitar stand. Our daughter is able to leave her guitar out in the family room so she can just pick it up and play as she wishes. It doesn't have a cheap look or feel. It looks well made and would be at home in my family rooms.
